Black History Month Series

February is Black History Month. Black History Month is celebrated annually in the United States to celebrate, recognize, and honor the contributions of African Americans in music, technology, agriculture, art, fashion, sports, and so much more. Every U.S. President has recognized Black History Month since 1976. To commemorate Black History Month, the U.S. President also picks a theme.

To celebrate Black History Month, TheBlack.Blog and HeavieTalk Media curate an annual month-long series called the Black Representation Matters Series. The series is geared towards highlighting the importance of Black representation.
