Robin Roberts is an American broadcaster, anchor, and journalist. She currently serves as a news anchor on ABC’s Good Morning America (GMA).
Roberts gained higher education from Southern Louisiana University, where she developed broadcast and media skills. After college, she took a job at ESPN as a sports reporter and anchor. While working at ESPN, she also served as a guest anchor on GMA. In 2005, Roberts was offered a full-time co-anchor role on GMA, a position that jump started her career.
While serving as a GMA anchor and journalist, Roberts has produced countless groundbreaking interviews with presidential candidates to world leaders and controversial entertainers.
