On June 24, 1971, Kenny Washington died. 

Kenny Washington was a legendary college football athlete. Kenny Washington reintegrated the NFL in 1946, when he was signed by the Los Angeles Rams. He was one of two black players who were signed to the NFL after a 12 year ban.
