Arnette Hubbard is elected as the first female president of the National Bar Association

On July 31, 1981 Arnette Hubbard was elected as the first female president of the National Bar Association.

Hubbard earned higher education from Southern Illinois University before attending law school. After graduating from law school, she went on to pursue a law career. Today, Hubbard serves as a Circuit Judge for the Illinois Circuit Court of Cook County.
