On April 6, 1968, 17-year-old Bobby Hutton was shot and killed by Oakland police.
Bobby Hutton is thought to be the first recruit to the Black Panther Party. In 1968, Bobby Hutton was shot and killed during a violent shootout with police officers in Oakland.
