Andre Ware wins the Heisman trophy

On December 2, 1989, Andre Ware became the first black quarterback to win the Heisman trophy. 

In 1989, University of Houston quarterback Andre Ware made history as the first black quarterback to win the prestigious college football award. 

Today, Andre Ware uses his skills and expertise as a college football analyst.
