MC Lyte is an iconic rapper, DJ, actress, and philanthropist. She was the first female rapper to release a solo album and the first female rapper to be nominated for a Grammy award, among other groundbreaking accomplishments. Her talents extend beyond music to television and film.
After music MC Lyte transitioned to starting a successful career as an actress. Recently, she’s starred in hit shows “Power” and “Queen of the South.”
